twilight and sleep

Twilight refuses to yield to daylight today. I don't want to get out of bed. Not lazy, just deep-down, body-and-soul weary. There is winter inside me and like the daylight that never came, the life inside me cannot be woken today. It's time to hibernate.

But beneath the greyness, the sea takes on a surprisingly turquoise-green hue.

It is said that those who haven't seen the sea ever, are haunted by their first sight of it.

And, people who see the sea everyday never want to leave it...

Is that true?

I spent most of my childhood summers by the sea. So yes, at least that second saying is true. There is nothing like the sea.

That is true, though its more of an excitement for me to see the sea, but I forget it as soon as I leave...
The place of my parent's orgins: Chennai, has the world's 2nd longest beach... even then I don't feel a lingering sense of awe...

Looked up Chennai on Google Earth and I was in awe of the beach just through the picture... People are different - but I know that you, like me, are in awe of deep space!
