the place where even bad weather is beautiful

Sun, rest, thunderstorms, playful puppies, good books, bad coffee, family, a fire on chilly nights, swimming in the sea, heat, sparkling water, writing by a candle, fields of gold, eagles, inactivity, wine, fragrance of childhood, home, barefoot in the grass, flying squirrels, wood-heated sauna... and lovely, lovely dreams that took me far beyond space and time.

That's what I call a holiday.

And maybe the best part: coming back to the city with a genuine impatience to restart my life. Not to mention an impatience to finally have a cup of real coffee.

Ah, dear PP back from her self-imposed exile into wondrous realms and bad coffee (. . . how could you? i run on coffee...*sigh*). A humble welcome back into the realm of the alive and blogging. *bows*
Thank you very much - I intend to enjoy every bit of it! the faces that are now on distant shores will haunt me from time to times, yes, but i've learnt to live alongside ghosts. :) Enjoy Pianopoet. like we all should!

And now, after a long and tiresome two weeks of college, I wish for such a holiday.
Flying squirrels? We needs pictures of those preciousss!

Well, have fun getting back to reality! It's usually much better when you realise that you are in reality, than when you drop blindly into the void of ignorance. It's fun when you do understand that you will be getting back to the same old [or in your case, the different new] life.

Again, have fun!

yes... the best part about holidays is the return to reality. or is it the worst?
Moreover, I wish coffee and long nights of sleep were compatible.

Oh how I'd love to lay on dewy grass and stare at the sky all day! Your holiday seems to have invigorated you and renewed your desire to live! :)

I don't mind reality as long as there is coffee in it. :)

It is TOO easy to settle back into boring routines again though. Sigh.

Alas, I got no pictures of the flying squirrels as they are nocturnal and very suspicious little creatures... (and punctual - the one in my neighbourhood showed up quite regularly at 11.15 pm precisely).

Looking forward to a blogging autumn with you, fascinating people!
