The second picture is of Hobbiton, the Shire. And there will be old folks that still talk of the War (meaning the 1st) and tamping baccy into pipes and calling people "Mr. Bill" with a crinkle eyed smile. That is made up of dickens, and wessexian heaths of Hardy and all the other names that made the english essence a part of our literary childhood.
